Dynamic and interactive website for ambitious lighting technology company


Lumi-Plugin are the creators behind the design and manufacture of a unique and stylish new fire safety lighting appliance. We were involved in the initial launch of the product, so when the time came for a new generation to be developed, we were brought in to redesign and rebuild their website to match the new exciting improvements to the technology. Through our design and marketing plans we aimed to raise awareness of the Gen 2 product range and generate an uplift in sales.

Key objectives

  • Create a new design strategy and style to support and promote the launch of the 2nd generation Lumi-Plugin
  • Design and build a completely new, highly interactive website to demonstrate the new features and capabilities of Lumi-Plugin Gen 2
  • Raise brand awareness and enhance its market position
  • Help drive consumer, trade, social and press interest and ultimately generate a sales uplift


We knew that the website had to be clean, clear and have inspiring visuals for it to work. So our design purposely acted as an environment for the product to sit in, not overshadowing it, housing it comfortably and enticingly – a leaf out of Apple’s book you could say. We directed the supply of state-of-the-art interactive product renders that our developers then weaved into the functionality of the site. The result is a cut above the rest in terms of engagement and wow factor. Considering the target audience of architects, developers and wholesalers, we feel the site sits comfortably in those worlds, and successfully meets an aesthetic that makes it appealing to those clientele – we always like to consider this in the process, how and where we need to, to balance the tone of the design.


The end result is a striking and impressive website that has drawn a lot of attention from the right audiences and repositioned Lumi-plugin in their rightful place as innovative and market leading designers and developers. The new site is spacious, precise in the information it delivers and positions the client as a reliable industry authority.
